Mike Winkworth

Mike is a dynamic and versatile entertainer. He has amazing vocals, and is known in the industry as “The Voice.” He is a great entertainer and leaves his audience calling for more after every performance. He has toured with Country Legend, Lee Conway and has performed in “The Legends of Rock N Roll” Tribute Show and The “Roy Orbison Tribute Show”. He performs music ranging from classic Rock n Roll to 70’s and 80’s music.

Sweet Mixjah

This classy and exciting duo is set apart from many with their extraordinary talent for vocal harmony. Their repertoire is extensive: 50s and Sixties, Soul to Rock ‘n’ Roll, Disco to Calypso, R&B to Nineties dance.

The Clovers Two are a dynamic two piece version of the celtic rock show The Gypsy Clovers. Featuring the powerful yet velvety vocals of Tanya Powell, and the gorgeous guitar licks of Jon Shore, The Clovers Two present a combination of well-known and loved contemporary and traditional Irish music, along with a rang of other popular songs too.

Friday 1st March - 7.30pm

Paul Carrigg

Paul started playing in rock bands when he was 17 and while his roots are in rock music, Paul also plays jazz, blues and country styles. His repertoire is extensive, allowing him to adapt to any audience. During the 80’s, Paul was often seen on stage supporting Australia’s top rock acts such as INXS, The Church, John Farnham, Little River Band, Kate Ceberano, Dragon, The Supremes[USA.] and many more.
 
A typical night with Paul could start with acoustic covers from Hunters and Collectors, Eric Clapton, Thirsty Merc, Powderfinger, while the end of the night would finish off with Sweet Home Alabama, All Right Now, Time Warp, Footloose or even some Salsa music.
 
Paul is always happy to take requests …there’s every chance he will know your favourite song.

Leigh James

Leigh James has played professionally since 1981, Folk, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Soul, Latin, World, Country and Decades of Pop! 4 North Coast Dolphin Awards to his credit for Funk, Pop, Gospel, and Country and with as many original CDs, Leigh has graced Festival stages as diverse as Woodford to Tamworth, from clubs and bars to Cruise Ships. Be entertained by one of the finest singer/songwriter/guitarists on the North/Gold Coasts: “If there’s a great lyric and melody AND a great groove to a tune you’re thinking of, try me! Dennis Dean

Dennis singing style is in between Sting and Chris Issack and his fiery lead guitar playing featuring his fender 1973 telecaster guitar and cole clark acoustic has hints of Santana and Eric Clapton... The music he plays is popular and contemporary and with a huge repertoire of songs with most age groups and musical tastes catered for, and suitable for dancing as well.

Martin Way

Martin is a solo guitarist and he developed his distinctive picking style on the Sydney 'circuit'. He has enjoyed success in New Zealand where he worked and toured nationally culminating in newspaper and radio exposure. He has played with the likes of Mark Kennedy (Renee Geyer), Jeremy Stone (David Bowie), Tim Reeves (Mungo Jerry), 'Pixie' Paul Jenkins (John Williamson) etc.. Don't miss this opportunity to see a Martin Way perform live, he is a real treat, and one of the true troubadours of our time..

Court N Spark

Court & Spark are a local acoustic duo with a warm, smooth groove sound, vocal harmonies, guitar and percussion, singing chilled out classic cover song favourites from a wide range of music and artists such as The Eagles, America, Bee Gees, Sade, Elton John, George Benson, James Taylor, Neil Young, Roberta Flack, Carol King, LRB, Everly Bros, The Carpenters, The Beatles, Bread, Neil Diamond, Mowtown and many more. We also have a set of cool Jazz songs when required.

Gemini

Gemini have an incredible repertoire of songs of all genres from Jazz & Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Latin to Top 40 Dance and everything in between, coupled with a combined 30 years of experience in show business, they'll keep you ‘dance happy’ and having a great time. 'GEMINI' members Paul and Terrina are both vocalists and Multi-Instrumentalist on Sax, Flute, Harmonica, Congas & Percussion.

An experienced entertainer of 30 years, he has played/toured Australia /Oversea’s, recorded and played with high profile artists such as, Angry Anderson & Pete Wells (Rose Tattoo), Roy Lynes (Status Quo), Phil Emmanual, Dave Evans (AC/DC’s original singer before Bon). Merlin plays a wide range of “Classic Rock” from 50’s,60’s,70’s,80’s to Now, crossing over into many musical genres - CCR, Beatles, Elvis, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, Doors, Dragon, Angels, AC/DC, to ZZTop.

Jessica Odgers

Jessica Odgers hails from Brisbane, and brings a fresh sound to country music, playing her songs and covers all over Australia at country music festivals and at local gigs. Her bubble personality, songwriting skills and powerhouse voice captivates the audience every time she performs. Jessica has worked and written with Australian legends such as Amber Lawrence, James Blundell, Kaylee Bell and Katrina Burgoyne. Jessica also had the opportunity to perform with Keith Urban on his Ripcord World Tour at his Brisbane concert. She then went to Nashville to work with some of the best writers in country music, bringing home a folio of songs to work with.Her debut single Candy was released earlier this year and received great success on the country charts.

Chris Evans

For the last 25 years Chris Evans has immersed himself in the music of the old blues legends and enjoys playing some of their early acoustic country blues. This music must be sung from the heart and drawn from life experience. 'evo' plays ol' vintage Blues guitar ...acoustic fingerstyle and slide, with a bit of blues harp n' stomp. Playing early blues covers and original songs in the same style.

Fire N Ice

is a covers band that performs music from the 70s through to today’s greatest hits. Master Guitarist/Vocalist Peter Cockerill is a talented musician and has performed with some of the best artists in the Australian music industry. These artists include Marcia Hines, Venetta Fields and Jade Hurley. Vocalist Stephanie Lazaro returns to Fire n Ice after spending time perfoming with some of the best producers and artists in the USA and Southeast Asia. Her powerful, soulful voice creates an impact in every song that send shivers down your spine. Stephanie was a Finalist in Philippine Idol and has recorded with Sony Music.
