Friday 3rd January - 6.00pm

Linda Street

Classic Hits from the 60's, 70’s, 80's and 90’s. Pop, Country, Rock and Disco. It doesn't matter if you would love to dance the night away to your old favourites, or just sit back and sing along. Her repertoire includes songs from The Beatles, The Monkees, Blondie, The Kinks, Fleetwood Mac, Creedence, Willie Nelson, Mamas and Papas, Cher, Melissa Etheridge and Status Quo to Abba.

Fabian

Fabian started his singing career at the age of 16 when he fronted a covers band for 3 years in South Africa. After immigrating to Australia in 1974, he became semi-professional, entertaining on weekends. At the age of 34, he had done in excess of 600 shows in NSW. It was now time to turn professional. In 2003/4 became one of the most booked artists on the Sunshine Coast. 2005 saw Fabian going to Bangkok to headline a star-studded show at the 5star Blue Wave Club. Two months and 72 shows later, Fabian headed off to South Africa for 7 months, entertaining at the world-renowned Keegans, and various other clubs doing in excess of 100 shows. After a 4 week break in Switzerland, Fabian headed home and settled on the Gold Coast where he now resides. Fabian specializes in music from the 60s,70's and 80s, from old-time dancing to rock n roll.

Benno & Kesh

Benno & Kesh are accomplished artists that deliver fresh and spontaneous, real live music. Benno is Chris Bent, lead singer of Gold Coast covers band ROCKKS. Kesh is Jules Keshan, drummer for ROCKKS and formerly a member of the award-winning Mason Rack Band.While Benno & Kesh are well rehearsed, Jules loves the spontaneity of following Benno when he plays any audience request “off the top of his head.” They use their experience to read the audience and serve up a smorgasbord of great songs to suit the crowd. That includes melodic, acoustic versions of many recent pop/radio hits from the 60’s to now by Ed Sheeran, Neil Diamond, George Ezra, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, The Eagles, Cold Chisel, Glen Campbell, U2, and so many more….

Jorge & Ellie

Ellie Styles started singing and performing at early age, participated in several musicals, learned piano, guitar and percussion. Collaborated with different bands that performed in Sydney and Melbourne through the years. She’s also a writer and a composer. Jorge Pereira has played with hundreds of musicians in quite a few countries, lived in Berlin for 8 years before coming to Australia and has recorded several original compositions. Jorge and Ellie cover a range of different styles, Jazz Standards, Country, Blues, Soul, Rock and a few Latin rhythms such as Bossa-Nova and Samba.

Merlin

An experienced entertainer of 30 years, he has played/toured Australia/Overseas, and recorded and played with high profile artists such as Russel Morris, Angry Anderson & Pete Wells (Rose Tattoo), Roy Lynes ( Status Quo), Phil Emmanual, Dave Evans (AC/DC’s original singer before Bon). Merlin plays a wide range of “Classic Rock” from 50’s,60’s,70’s,80’s to Now, crossing over into many musical genres….CCR, Beatles, Elvis, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, RollingStones, Doors, Dragon,Angels,AC/DC, to ….ZZTop.

Sweet Mixjah

Bagman

IS one of those acts you'll remember for ever.

Having mastered instruments including guitar, harmonica, banjo, even ukulele, and the humble recorder, this "Pitch-perfect voice" showcases a wide variety of musical styles.  He describes his set as something for everyone, but not too much for anyone. Geoff lists his musical influences as Dire Straits, Santana, Cold Chisel, Mozart, Garth Brooks, Pink Floyd, Ed Sheeran, Kenny Rogers, Bach,  ACDC,  and Spike Milligan..  Add in a dash of humour and good clean fun, and you have an all-round good time, just waiting to be had.

Fire N Ice

is a covers band that performs music from the 70s through to today’s greatest hits. Master Guitarist/Vocalist Peter Cockerill is a talented musician and has performed with some of the best artists in the Australian music industry. These artists include Marcia Hines, Venetta Fields and Jade Hurley. Vocalist Stephanie Lazaro returns to Fire n Ice after spending time perfoming with some of the best producers and artists in the USA and Southeast Asia. Her powerful, soulful voice creates an impact in every song that send shivers down your spine. Stephanie was a Finalist in Philippine Idol and has recorded with Sony Music.

Chrisalis

Chrisalis - Is Chrisc (vocals and guitar), Jon (vocals and guitar) and Martin (Cajon- percussion)- Jon's distinctive guitar style and Chrisc's smooth vocals fuse perfectly together, transforming well known songs and their own originals into arrangements of blues, country jazz for your listening ears. Joined by Martin on light percussion Chrisalis fill the room with a chilled out ambience that keep your customers happy and entertained.
Chrisc and Jon have worked together for over 5 years with various projects and shows. Their unplugged raw songs are great listening.

Leigh James has played professionally since 1981, Folk, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Soul, Latin, World, Country and Decades of Pop! 4 North Coast Dolphin Awards to his credit for Funk, Pop, Gospel, and Country and with as many original CDs,  Leigh has graced Festival stages as diverse as Woodford to Tamworth, from clubs and bars to Cruise Ships. Martin is a solo guitarist and he developed his distinctive picking style on the Sydney 'circuit'. He has enjoyed success in New Zealand where he worked and toured nationally culminating in newspaper and radio exposure. He has played with the likes of Mark Kennedy (Renee Geyer), Jeremy Stone (David Bowie), Tim Reeves (Mungo Jerry), 'Pixie' Paul Jenkins (John Williamson) etc.. Don't miss this opportunity to see a Martin Way perform live, he is a real treat, and one of the true troubadours of our time...

Mike is a dynamic and versatile entertainer. He has amazing vocals, and is known in the industry as “The Voice.” He is a great entertainer and leaves his audience calling for more after every performance. He has toured with Country Legend, Lee Conway and has performed in “The Legends of Rock N Roll” Tribute Show and The “Roy Orbison Tribute Show”. He performs music ranging from classic Rock n Roll to 70’s and 80’s music.
