In our 2nd year of participation of the Perfect Plate competition, Murwillumbah Services Club took out the 2022 title of ‘Far North Coast Regional Winner’. Our winning dish being our very popular Twice Cooked Lamb Shoulder, with honey roasted carrots, duck fat potatoes, broccolini & red wine jus. A big congratulations is in order for Head Chef Russell & the team who worked extremely hard to perfect the dish & bring home gold.
As part of the competition the club also had a visit from renowned chef Manu Feildel, who sampled the dish & named it in his top 3 favourites to take out the title. A big thank you to all those who tried the dish & voted.
