As part of our Club Grants Scheme, the Club donated much needed funding to our local Cadets Unit 225 Army Cadets Murwillumbah
Our local cadet unit have been established for around 30 years & in that time have created a strong & supportive community for local youth. One that fosters a strong sense of mateship & empowerment, whilst providing a great foundation for those interested in a future career with the Australian Army.
The funding was put to good use through the purchase of 3 new tv screens to assist in educational demonstrations as well as increased funding for the kitchen to make sure that each & every unit member is able to enjoy a meal at dinner. Something that unfortunately without support was not always a possibility. Especially with the past couple of years being extremely challenging due to Covid-19 restrictions & devastating floods.
